Another fabulous single malt released as part of the Secret Speyside Collection, this one hails from Longmorn! The whisky was matured in a combination of American oak barrels and hogsheads for nearly two decades. Eventually, at 18 years old it was bottled at 48% ABV, with a tantalisingly tropical flavour profile.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Vanilla fudge and buttery toffee, with pear compote, sandalwood and juicy tropical fruit.
Palate: Mint chocolate, desiccated coconut and dried apricot, with another helping of fudge.
Finish: Fresh mango appears on a nutty finish.
