Frescobaldi - Castel Giocondo, Brunello Di Montalcino - 2020 75cl

Frescobaldi - Castel Giocondo, Brunello Di Montalcino 2016 - 75cl

Winery: Frescobaldi

Grape Variety: Sangiovese

Region: Tuscany, Italy

Alcohol Content: 14.5%

Food Pairing: We recommend this wine with pot roast, gigot of lamb or tagliata. Also excellent with venison ragout, roast beef with mushrooms and ripe pecorino.

Description: Garnet Robe. A red fruity aroma that gradually builds up in the glass: plums, cherries, cranberry jam and some cinnamon, behind which are toasty notes of well-baked bread and milk chocolate. Very fine and multifaceted on the palate: now also raspberries and pomegranate seeds, very velvety and expressing a lot of warmth; backed by matching toasting notes; long, finesse-rich finale.
